CNN’s Don Lemon tells fellow CNN host Chris Cuomo that Jesus Christ was ‘not perfect’ on his show ‘CNN Tonight with Don Lemon’ Wednesday evening.
“Jesus Christ, if that’s who you believe, if that’s who you believe in, admittedly was not perfect when he was here on this earth,” Lemon says to Cuomo, who responded with a blank stare.

Lemon then proceeded to compare his denial of the divinity of Jesus Christ to the Founding Fathers who are ‘deified’ even though they owned slaves.
“So why are we deifying the founders of this country, many of whom owned slaves?”
Lemon then claimed that Congress denied the King’s request to abolish slavery
This isn’t the first time that CNN has aired anti-religious rhetoric. Just last week, Chris Cuomo told his audience that if we believe in one another, we don’t need help from above.
Here's a cleaned up, not-pointed-at-the-TV version of Chris Cuomo's crazy ending to Friday's show: "If you believe in one another and if do the right thing for yourself and your community, things will get better in this country.
