CNN’s Chris Cuomo is at it again.

CNN and Cuomo performed what looked like a premeditated hit job when they had White House counselor Kellyanne Conway on “Cuomo Prime Time” on Thursday. At one point, Cuomo even scolded Conway and demanded that she admit that President Trump knew about former Trump attorney Michael Cohen’s payment to adult film “actress” Stormy Daniels, before news of it broke in the media.

“He’s [Trump] lying about not knowing before these payments, and you should admit it,” Cuomo said to Conway while she attempted to get a word in edgewise. “No, you have to admit it. You have to.”

“Are you kidding me?” Conway responded.

Cuomo also said that the difference between CNN and the Trump administration is “integrity.”

“I’ll tell you why I can’t,” Cuomo said responding to Conway’s pushback against Cuomo concerning his “off-the-record” conversation with Cohen, “because I’ll tell you why, because there’s a little difference between you and me, and the shop you’re working for, integrity…”

“The White House?” Conway asked. “How dare you!”

Here’s that portion of the exchange (in context):

Most of the interview was a lot of back-and-forth, he-said-she-said in which they basically called each other liars. It was explosive, but not very productive.

In the end, CNN and Cuomo looked like a bully that couldn’t handle Conway’s convictions. The final exchange between the two possibly exposed Cuomo for conflating THE truth with HIS truth.

“The whole truth also includes all the good economic news and the progress we’re making around the world,” Conway said before Cuomo interrupted her.

“No, that’s not how truth works,” Cuomo interjected.

“Ah, thank you,” Conway said, pointing at Cuomo. “Truth is just what you think it is.”
