During a rant against President Donald Trump and his supporters in the U.S. Senate, CNN’s Chris Cuomo on Monday mocked Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio as “Mr. Bible Boy,” jeering that “he’s got a Bible quote for every moment" but "won't speak truth to power."

Speaking to fellow CNN host Don Lemon, Cuomo slammed the nearly dozen lawmakers in the Senate, including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, for standing alongside Trump in his claims of voter fraud in the 2020 Election and saying they will vote to reject Biden's win.

“The people – those who remain, the Kevin McCarthys, the people in the House, the people in the Senate, who are enabling this…The man [Trump] called ‘Lying Ted,’ the man he called ‘Little Marco,’ you know…Mr. Bible Boy. He’s got a Bible quote for every moment. He just never speaks truth to power or acts on any of it in the interest of his own state or his own country. And they know what they’re doing is bogus," Cuomo ranted, while Lemon sipped his drink and nodded along.

So far, 11 elected senators have said they'll vote "no" on certifying the results of the election, citing allegations of voter fraud and unanswered questions on vote counts in multiple states. Neither Rubio nor Florida Sen. Rick Scott, also a Republican, have signed the pledge, despite repeated demands from many of their Trump-supporting constituents.
