CNN Says Trump's 'Facing a Potential Shock,' 'Braces' For Not Being Served Beef In India

Ever the stalwart defender of truth and justice, CNN, dedicated to bringing before the American public stories of vast import, has delivered this gem: that President Trump, a noted lover of cheeseburgers, “faces a potential shock” during his visit to the non-cow-eating country of India.

A “potential shock.” Because the man’s spending a few days without ground beef. That’s what CNN just spent their time “reporting.”

“President Trump — whose diet is often a rotation of steaks, burgers and meatloaf — faces a potential shock as he prepares to travel to India, where Hindus are the majority and cows are revered as sacred,” CNN explained in a tweet, which accompanied a hard-hitting and not at all exaggerated report entitled, “Trump braces for a beef-free menu in India.”

In it, the authors (it took three to deliver this masterpiece, apparently) fretted that Trump would be presented with a vegetarian menu during his several meetings with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“People familiar with the trip's planning cautioned that menus would likely only be finalized at the last minute. And Trump's aides have been known to intervene to ensure Trump's tastes are catered to when he's on the road (he once had steak twice in a day while abroad),” CNN said.

God help us all, as the end is surely nigh.
