Hearts were breaking all over CNN Friday as the network announced the results of its latest economic poll, which revealed that three years into the Trump administration, the U.S. economy has the highest ranking of the last two decades.

“Overall, 76% rate economic conditions in the US today as very or somewhat good, significantly more than those who said so at this time last year (67%). This is the highest share to say the economy is good since February 2001, when 80% said so,” CNN reported.

In fact, public opinion of the current U.S. economy went up across all party demographics. A full 97 percent of Republicans now say economic conditions as “good,” along with 75 percent of Independents and 62 percent of Democrats.

“Looking ahead, nearly 7 in 10 expect the economy to be in good shape a year from now (68%), the best outlook in CNN polling since December 2003,” CNN added.

The poll was conducted between Dec. 12-15 among 1,005 adults selected at random from across the country, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.
