CNN Guest Goes Off the Rails On Trump's Alleged 'Racism'

Welcome to the resistance, where you can accuse anyone who denies that the president is a racist of having no spine.

That’s right, a panelist on no other than CNN told former George W. Bush aide Scott Jennings to “find your spine."

“Until white folk like you can stand up and find your spine, you will continue to be complicit in the racial animus in this country,” said Georgetown professor Michael Eric Dyson.

The comment came during a segment in reaction to a recent Quinnipiac University National Poll which found that 49 percent of Americans consider President Trump to be racist, compared to 47 percent who say he is not.

CNN did not mention that Quinnipiac only received 1,020 responses.

When Jennings said he did not believe President Trump is a racist, CNN host Alisyn Camerota clearly disagreed, then citing racially insensitive comments from the president.

Jennings noted that he disagrees with much of which Trump has said in the past, but believes the accusations of racism towards him are more about demonizing Republicans than anything else.

Dyson was disgusted with Jennings’ defense of the president, claiming Trump’s racism is “clear and plain before us,” even arguing he has “emboldened white supremacists.”

Judging this segment, it appears that saying the president isn’t racist is an extreme position. Only on CNN.
