Oh, CNN. Your false hubris is showing — even more than your “fake news.” Here’s a question: Who loves watching a CNN segment that they think will work in their favor blow up in their smug faces?

I do! I do!

CNN hosted a panel of Donald Trump voters from Youngstown, Ohio who were among the 7,000 registered Democrats who switched their allegiance to the Republican Party in 2016, and much to CNN’s chagrin, they’re absolutely ecstatic about the job President Trump has done in his first year.

“Something that he said that really sticks with me is that he wants to give the power back to the American people,” student Justis Harrison told CNN’s Martin Savage, "and that’s something that I can certainly get behind.”

Savage asked the panel of five converted Trump voters how they think Trump has done now that we’re through the president’s first year. The panel unanimously positively responded.
“Better than I ever would’ve dreamt,” said retired mother of four Anna Para, “I meant that sincerely.”

Savage then couldn’t believe his ears when the panel also unanimously responded that immigration was a huge hot-button topic for these voters.

“Really,” Savage said surprisingly. “In Youngstown, Ohio?”

It was almost as if Savage was attempting to influence answers since the Clinton News Network (CNN) doesn’t usually respond well to positive Trump comments.

“I feel like when people come here illegally that’s just very disrespectful,” Harrison said. “You don’t respect our laws, and free willing like that.”

Savage then asked, “What about the lies?” It was an attempt by Savage to try and salvage this panel discussion somewhat for the clearly biased CNN.

“Do I think he’s lied? No,” said machine shop worker Geno DiFabio. “Do I think he’s fallen short on some of his goals? We all do.”

Despite the panelists praising the economy and how stock prices and housing values are up, Savage points out how he doesn’t see a boom in Youngstown. It was said in the most condescending nature. It was indicative of the steady decline of Savage’s patience with the panelists continued support of Trump. It's almost as if Savage was asking, "Isn't there anything you don't like about Trump?"

Perhaps the biggest perpetrator of obvious bias against Trump, Savage asked the panel if they think the media is fair to Trump. The panel couldn’t wait to answer.

“I don’t think so at all,” Harrison answered.

Judging by reports, the numbers don’t think so either.

It’s a great thing to see CNN with egg on their face. It’s absolutely phenomenal when CNN themselves are the ones cooking the omelette.
