During a speech addressing issues impacting black Americans at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had a coughing fit that lasted nearly three minutes.
While talking about what she has done to help black Americans, Clinton began to cough.
Supporters encouraged Clinton to continue speaking with cheers of “Hillary!”
Clinton’s voice returned briefly throughout the coughing spell, although her voice was strained and she struggled to speak.
Clinton attributed her coughing fit to having “too much to say.”
Clinton also coughed as she entered and exited the stage.
This is not the first time Clinton has had a coughing fit while on stage. In January, Clinton suffered from a minute-long coughing fit. She also coughed during the Benghazi hearing.
