After the Democratic presidential debate on Saturday, Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign sent an email to supporters telling them Clinton could “lose the nomination.”

In an email titled, “I need your help,” Clinton wrote, “I don't know how else to say it except by saying it: We could lose the nomination.”

“The other candidates on that stage tonight would like nothing more than for our team to sit back and relax right now, but I am not taking anything for granted,” the email read.

Clinton instructed supporters help “show the world that we're going to fight hard, secure the Democratic nomination, and go on to the White House” by donating $1.

According to the RealClearPolitics average of polls, Clinton is currently leading Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) with 56.3 percent of support compared to 30.6 percent for Sanders. Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley is polling at 4.3 percent.
