Clinton Campaign Shares Letter from 12-Year-Old ‘Little Feminist’

Hillary Clinton’s campaign posted a letter from a 12-year-old aspiring campaign worker on Tuesday.

In the letter posted on Twitter, self-described “little feminist” Olivia told Clinton about her two fathers, her battle with dyslexia and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and her desire for more public schools to help kids with dyslexia.

Olivia told Clinton she would be “completely willing to help you out after school,” stating, “I bet I would be the youngest member of your campaign.”

“I am a huge fan of yours, and I really hope you become president. I am a little feminist growing up to help all women with equal rights. I hope you can be the first woman president of the whole United States.”

Olivia added, as a “by the way,” that she is “really glad there is now gay marriage legal all around the whole 50 states of America.”

Clinton’s campaign website published the letter last month, including Clinton’s reply:

“Thank you for writing to me; it put a smile on my face. … Please know that I join your dads in cheering you on for great success. Keep up the great work, always care deeply about what you believe in, and never stop reaching for the stars!”
