Clinton Campaign Email to Supporters: ‘This Isn’t OK Anymore’

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign sent a panicked email titled, “This isn’t OK anymore” Friday
morning.

In the email, Hillary for America’s national finance director Dennis Cheng says he is being kept awake at night due to a lack of Clinton supporters donating to the campaign:

There's something that's been keeping me up at night lately: Every national poll of this election shows that we have significantly more supporters than Bernie Sanders does, but way more of his supporters are stepping up and donating to his campaign.

“That may have been OK in the run-up to voting,” Cheng claims, “but we’re down to the wire here, and it’s time for everyone to step up.”

In order to remedy the alleged lack of supporters donating to the campaign, Cheng’s email encourages supporters to donate $1 to Clinton’s campaign.

By the end of 2015, Sanders raised a “record” 2.5 million individual donations. His year-end total of donations amounted to $73 million.

Clinton, however, still received more donations than Sanders in 2015. Clinton allegedly raised $112 million by the end of the year.

Polls currently show Sanders is leading Clinton in Iowa and New Hampshire.
