The #MeToo movement has led the New York Times to opine that “I Believe Jaunita (Broaddrick)” – a event that has caused Broaddrick herself to tweet, “Hell has definitely frozen over.”

The focus on accusations against Harvey Weinstein, George Takei, Roy Moore and others has brought a renewed interest in former President Bill Clinton’s sexual misconduct and the alleged crimes multiple women have claimed Clinton committed.

As a result, The New York Times recently published an opinion piece by Michele Goldberg called “I believe Juanita:”

In this #MeToo moment, when we’re reassessing decades of male misbehavior and turning open secrets into exposes, we should look clearly at the credible evidence that Juanita Broaddrick told the truth when she accused Clinton of raping her. But revisiting the Clinton scandals in light of today’s politics is complicated as well as painful. Democrats are guilty of apologizing for Clinton when they shouldn’t have.

Later the piece adds:

It’s fair to conclude that because of Broaddrick’s allegations, Bill Clinton no longer has a place in decent society.

Broaddrick has long claimed that Bill Clinton raped her while he was a candidate for the Arkansas Governor’s office, and that Hillary Clinton tried to silence her claims.

When the New York Times printed the column she tweeted, “New York Times opinion 'I Believe Juanita.' Hell has definitely frozen over."
