Chinese Government Calls for End of Online Mockery of Kim Jong-Un

State controlled media in China is calling on the nation's internet users to stop mocking North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un in online memes.

Photoshopping the North Korean dictator into hilarious videos has become a craze among Chinese Internet users, and the Chinese government is now requesting that the meme generators refrain from making a laughing stock of the nation's close ally.

The country's government-run news outlet, The Global Times, issued a statement urging Internet users to stop creating insulting content aimed at Kim Jong-Un, saying that the mockery "[does] not represent the collective sentiments of the Chinese people."

It is unclear what, if any, action the Chinese government will take against those who continue to poke fun of North Korea's leader, who has been dubbed "Little Fatty" by those creating the popular memes.

Fortunately for us, the videos that have already been made remain online for our viewing pleasure.

Enjoy.
