Update: The numbers have changed from the original report to reflect changes in the death total, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Another weekend, another few dozens people find themselves the victim of a shooting, with some not able to tell the story after their ordeal. Another weekend, another example of all the “activists” — whether it’s Black Lives Matter, Antifa or Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot — not giving a crap about any of the people who have lost their lives. Sad.

At least nine people were murdered and at least another 41 others were wounded in shootings across the Chicagoland area over the weekend. The total number of shooting victims is a slight increase from the previous weekend, which saw at least nine killed with another 36 wounded.

On a side note, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that there were also two fatal stabbings of females over the weekend. One of the victims was a 5-YEAR-OLD little girl, and the other female was reportedly “in her 20s.”

The 5-year-old that was fatally stabbed has been identified as Serenity Arrington. Say her name, “activists!” They don’t have the guts to do so. The woman in her 20s that was stabbed to death has yet to be identified.

Here are the names of those who died in shootings over the weekend, according to the Chicago Sun-Times:

Unidentified Male, 66

Unidentified Male, 20

Omar Alvarado, 15

Avion Aldridge, 17

Richard Soward, 20

Rayalecio Purman, 42

Cornelius Pulthus Jr., 19

You read the ages above correctly. Three teenagers and two 20-year-olds were among those who were killed over the weekend. The Sun-Times also reported that five more teenagers were wounded in shootings over the weekend, ranging in age from 14 to 17.

As for the year-to-date numbers on weekend shooting victims, Chicago is now up to at least 254 people dead and 1,323 people wounded. The Chicago Tribune shooting tracker, which keeps a weekly count of all Chicago shooting victims regardless of the day of the week, reported that 3,132 have been victims of shootings, as of September 28. That is 1,033 more than the same point in 2019, and the second highest number behind the same point in 2016 (3,233).

Notice that this year’s total number of shooting victims is now only 101 victims behind 2016’s number. If 2020 surpasses 2016 in the total number of shooting victims, it would make 2020 the most violent year for shootings in Chicago in at least the last nine years.
