Chattanooga Gunman Allegedly Joked About His Name Causing 'National Security Alerts'

The suspected gunman who killed four Marines in shootings at two military facilities in Chattanooga, Tenn. allegedly had a yearbook quote that joked about his name causing “national security alerts,” the Chattanooga Times Free Press reports.

The Chattanooga Times Free Press sent out a tweet that supposedly shows Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez’s yearbook photo and senior quote:

The quote, attributed to “Hijabman” states, “My name causes national security alerts. What does yours do?”

The Chattanooga Times Free Press reports multiple students at Red Bank High School, where Abdulazeez attended high school, sent in photos of the yearbook.

The shooting is currently being categorized as “domestic terrorism.”

In addition to killing four Marines,Abdulazeez injured another service man, a police officer, and a third individual, authorities state.
