What is a woman?

Apparently Cambridge Dictionary doesn't even know.

In a less than shocking revelation, Cambridge Dictionary changed it’s definitions for “man” and “woman.” Notable conservative leaders and outlets were appalled at the news, rightfully so.

The old “woman” in the Cambridge Dictionary didn’t include the phrase “identifies as female.” According to the Wayback Machine, which captured an image of the page back in March, the definition was the following:

woman

But now,  the website lists woman as “an adult female human being” first, but following that added, “an adult who lives and identifies as female though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth.”

There’s also two sentences to clarify what Cambridge Dictionary means.

She was the first trans woman elected to a national office.

Mary is a woman who was assigned male at birth.

I never considered the fact that dictionaries can also be biased and follow the woke agenda.

Same goes for the updated version of the word “man.”

The webpage for “man” indicated that a man is “an adult who lives and identifies as male though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth.” And the two sentences add clarification again.

Mark is a trans man (= a man who was said to be female when they were born).

Their doctor encouraged them to live as a man for a while before undergoing surgical transition.

Damn! Who knew that the meaning of words that we’ve been using, well — forever, could change on a whim!?

Numerous people protested the news on Twitter but none of which seemed utterly shocked. Unfortunately, nutso changes like this have become commonplace.

This is mortifying and simply a virtue signaling ploy in order for the dictionary editors to feel like they accomplished something in favor of the woke agenda.

This is all about control and the left is to blame.

Conservative commentator Steven Crowder said it best, “if you can control the language, you can control the population.”
