BuzzFeed has issued an apology after people on Twitter complained about a video featuring black people discussing issues impacting the black community.

The video, entitled “27 Questions Black People Have for Black People," shows black people asking questions such as, “Why are we more likely to engage in the new dance trend than we are to get involved in politics or opening a business?” “Why do we call each other the 'n-word’ but get vehemently upset when a white person uses the 'n-word’?” and “Why is growing up without a father so common in our race?”

In response, people took to Twitter to voice their anger over the video:

In a tweet posted a week after the video was uploaded, BuzzFeedVideo wrote the video was a “mistake” and that they “want to get better at earning the trust of our black audience”:

BuzzFeedVideos has released similar videos, such as “33 Questions White People Have For White People” and “24 Questions Black People Have for White People,” but has not issued an apology to white people.

BuzzFeed has also not apologized for its numerous videos about “white privilege.”
