Day after day Americans are given example after example of just how incompetent and tone deaf our federal government is towards pretty much any situation, particularly those within President Joe Biden’s regime.

Perhaps the least qualified and lowest on the intellectual totem pole is Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. Time after time his only explanation for pretty much anything that goes wrong with infrastructure that affects travel of any kind has to do with identity politics.

However, it this specific instance of stupidity, Buttigieg was being interviewed about the environmentally catastrophic train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.

Basically, Buttigieg intimated that something needs to be done about how incompetent he seems to be at his job. He essentially said that this train derailment, despite the amount of attention it has received a week after it happened, derailments happen all the time and that’s what we should focus on.

“While this horrible situation has gotten a particularly high amount of attention, there are roughly 1,000 cases a year of a train derailing,” Buttigieg told Yahoo! Finance.

So Buttigieg displays his incompetence by not understanding the gravity of this specific situation, as well as saying that something needs to be done about the numerous amount of derailments, something which he is in charge of.

What are you trying to persuade us of, Petey? That you’re in above your head, even though most of us already knew you were because you failed at being the mayor of South Bend, Indiana?
