A Democrat candidate for state Senate in Virginia is catching some heat this week after reports surfaced that she’d live-streamed herself and her husband performing sex acts online.

According to the Associated Press, who first broke the story, 40-year-old Susanna Gibson, who’s running for a seat in the Virginia House of Delegates in a Richmond-area district on a platform largely dedicated to pushing abortion “rights,” reportedly filmed herself having sex with her husband and live-streamed it on a porn website what Chaturbate under the username “HotWifeExperience.” She then asked viewers to pay the couple with “tips” for private showings, which included offering to let viewers watch her urinate, be sodomized, and get hit or choked. In one video, she claimed she’d had sex with three men in one day, but urged viewers, “don’t tell my husband he was the third.”

The AP reports that “More than a dozen videos posted under Gibson’s Chaturbate username were archived on one of those sites — Recurbate — in September 2022, the month after she announced her candidacy. The most recent were two videos archived on Sept. 30, 2022.”

Gibson, a nurse and mother of two young children, didn't deny the videos, but rather claims her “privacy” was invaded when the reports were made public - about the videos she voluntarily streamed online to a bunch of strangers for money - calling it an “an illegal invasion of my privacy designed to humiliate me and my family" and saying it's "the worst gutter politics.”

She cited a Virginia law that makes it illegal for someone to “maliciously” disseminate nude or sexual pictures or videos of someone in an attempt to bully, harass, or intimidate them. Fellow Democrats have rushed to her defense, including Sen. L. Louise Lucas, who vowed to help Gibson fundraise off the scandal.

Then again, it looks like Gibson doesn't need a lot of help raising money.
