Just a few months after moving to Ireland to escape the fascist dictatorship of President Donald Trump (or something), Rosie O’Donnell is taking to social media to complain about having anxiety-induced insomnia from the stress of relocating to another country.
“I’ve been having trouble sleeping, you know?” O’Donnell said in her latest frumpy-haired, makeup-less selfie video posted to TikTok.
“I can get to sleep but then I wake up, and a lot of people have told me it’s cortisol levels. And it probably is. I mean, I have a lot going on - moving to another country is a big upheaval for your system, you know, and for your psyche, even though I freaking love it here,” she complained.
Despite saying Ireland is “better than I ever could have imagined” and that she “has not one regret” about moving to get away from a Trump-led America, the washed-up actress said she’s been using trazodone to help control her anxiety and help her sleep ever since relocating, complaining that her “shrink” back in the States won’t grant her request for a Xanax prescription.

“I’m not sure in Ireland where you get psyche meds,” O’Donnell said, adding that she’ll probably ask her Ireland-based general practitioner for the pills.
Then again, I’m thinking she’ll need more than a Xanax scrip to fix the tangled wiring in whatever passes for her brain.
Here’s a thought: take some melatonin. Down a bottle of Benadryl. Chase a handful of anxiety pills with a couple shots of bourbon. Whatever helps you get to La-la-land.
Just please, please don’t come back here.
