Well, this is a new one.
In the ridiculous and never-ending debate over whether or not boys with distinct physical advantages should be allowed to compete against girls who’ve got little to no chance of ever beating them thanks to biology, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, herself a boundless font of wisdom and science-based logic, claimed that a rule mandating only girls can compete against girls would force girls to undergo physical genital examinations before playing sports.
If you’re over there scratching your head going, huh? Join the club.
AOC made the claim during a House hearing Tuesday on the recent destruction of women’s sports by men who claim to be women trouncing their female counterparts across nearly every athletic competition. To the New York socialist, however, this isn't really about protecting women's sports - it's about being able to shove your hands up a woman's skirt and feel around.
“We are talking about opening up all women and girls to genital examinations when they are under age, potentially just because someone can point to someone and say, I don’t think you are a girl,” AOC claimed.

Which brings up two interesting points: firstly, this is simply patently untrue. Then again, we’re arguing with a person who thinks men can become women, so I’m not sure how much facts matter to an ideologue like AOC here, but still. No one is arguing for child female athletes to undergo physical exams of their lady parts in order to compete in sports. In many states, a simple look-see at a birth certificate would do the trick. A few states require a note from a doctor - like your pre-existing family physician, for instance - stating that you are, in fact, a biological female, and that's only if there's a strong question as to whether or not the student in question is actually a dude in women's clothing.
Also, let's be honest - it’s usually pretty easy to tell if you’re dealing with a she, or a he who simply thinks he’s a she. The taller stature, muscular build, face stubble, and bobbing Adam’s apple tend to be dead giveaways.

Again, not rocket science, you guys.
Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, is what AOC doesn’t even realize she just admitted while busy jumping the shark to paint conservatives as monsters who want to grope little girls in the name of protecting women’s sports.
Obviously ridiculous hyperbole aside, AOC essentially acknowledged that girls and boys have different genitalia. If a physical exam would reveal that, then it must be an undeniable and provable truth. Men and women are different. They are built differently. You can take a look at them and see a difference - one AOC seems perfectly capable of understanding, but wants to deny whenever it's politically expedient, even at the expense of innocent young women.
But it’s exactly that difference, that physical distinguishability, that creates an athletic disparity between biological boys and the girls against whom we’re allowing them to compete - girls who can’t possibly counteract that disparity because they’re simply made differently.
