Nearly 30 percent of all Gen Z women ages 18- to 26 now identify as LBTQ, according to a new - and disturbing - study.

The latest Gallup poll found that the percentage of American adults who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or otherwise “queer” skyrocketed to an all-time high of 7.6 percent in 2023, up from roughly 3 percent in the early 2000s. Of those, the greatest increase by leaps and bounds was seen among Gen Zers, the most recent generation to have achieved legal adulthood.

Of Gen Z adults who said they identified as LGBTQ, women were nearly three times as likely as men to self-label themselves as something other than heterosexual or identifying with their biological gender. Gallup found that of all Gen Z women, a whopping 20.7 percent said they were “bisexual,” with only about 5 percent identifying as lesbian.

Long all adult respondents across all ages, Gallup found that bisexuals made up the highest percentage of self-identified LGBTQ people, coming in at 57.3 percent.

While the rapidly increasing rate of adults self-reporting as LGBTQ is disturbing in and of itself, the fact that the greatest increase by far is among so-called “bisexuals” is incredibly telling. While identifying as gay or even transgender takes a certain level of commitment both personally and socially, identifying as “bisexual” allows for a heterosexual person to self-identify as LGBTQ without actually changing their behavior, lifestyle, or attractions, indicating it’s far more likely young adults are following a social trend rather than actually identifying as something other than straight in practice.

Shocker, there.

Regardless of the truth behind why so many young people are now declaring themselves "queer," don't expect the trend to stop anytime soon. According to Gallup's data, “Overall, each younger generation is about twice as likely as the generation that preceded it to identify as LGBTQ+. More than one in five Gen Z adults, ranging in age from 18 to 26 in 2023, identify as LGBTQ+, as do nearly one in 10 millennials (aged 27 to 42).”

Chalk another one up to TikTok madness and left-wing idiocy.
