When Kamala Harris stages a two-take photo op at a gas station on a contrived quest to find Doritos, it’s relatable. When Tim Walz and Doug Emhoff visit a coffee shop and then walk off without paying the barista, it’s folksy and charming.
But when Donald Trump spends 20 minutes working the drive-thru at Mickey D’s to connect with average blue-collar Americans and their everyday customers, it’s…”bizarre.”
So says the squawking heads over at MSNBC, who were absolutely outraged that the former president and third-time Republican nominee went viral on social media for handing out bags of fries to hungry supporters at a McDonald’s drive-thru Sunday.
MSNBC says working at McDonald’s is bizarre and strange. This is how @KamalaHarris and the elites think of everyday Americans who work everyday jobs.

“What is the logic behind this, going to a McDonald’s? I mean we know the guy likes Big Macs and Filet o’Fish, he’s used the word “LOVE” to describe the way he feels food there before, but what’s this about?” an MSNBC host asked Democratic Rep Barbara Lee.
“There’s no logic to it. It’s a stunt. He has not put forth and economic agenda…he, as you know, appears to be not well. And he has engaged in some really bizarre types of activities during this campaign. So this is just another one of those stunts that he will continue on through the campaign,” Lee responded.

"We know who Donald Trump is, just look at him and what he's doing. Is this presidential?” She added. “Is this what the country needs in terms of the leader of the free world, and in terms of a person who is going to ensure our national security?”
The folks who pulled up to the window and took bags of fast food from Trump certainly seemed to think so. The crowd, which included families in mini-vans, moms, and more than a few immigrants, thanked Trump for coming to meet them - even if it meant he had to put on an apron and toss a few baskets of fries to do it.
