And now they’ve come for Carlos Santana. Why? For not kowtowing to the left’s prescribed mantra.

The famed "Smooth" singer and guitarist is making waves Friday after video from a recent concert began circulating on social media, in which Santana credited God for creating men and women as separate - and not interchangeable - genders.

“When God made you and me — before we came out of the womb, you know who you are and what you are. Later on, when you grow out of it, you see things, and you start believing that you could be something that sounds good, but you know it ain’t right. Because a woman is a woman and a man is a man. That’s it,” Santana said, adding, “Whatever you wanna do in the closet, that’s your business. I’m OK with that.”

According to NBC News, the now-viral clip is reportedly from a show in Atlantic City last month, but just now cropped up on social media platforms. In a follow-up interview with Billboard, Santana has since apologized for his “insensitive comments” that “hurt people,” marking just the latest celeb to bend to left-wing outrage after simply stating a biological fact.

“I am sorry for my insensitive comments. They don’t reflect that I want to honor and respect all person’s ideals and beliefs,” he wrote. “I realize that what I said hurt people and that was not my intent. I sincerely apologize to the transgender community and everyone I offended.”

Of course, Santana apologizing for speaking truth hasn’t earned him any favors with the leftists he pissed off. The San Fransisco Chronicle blasted the singer’s comments as his “most insane anti-transgender rant,” while a transgender activist on Twitter/X fired off, “just shut the f**k up & play your guitar.”
