A Jew-hating terrorist was arrested after ramming her car into what she thought was a Jewish school. In case you were wondering how all this rampant antisemitism is going.

Thankfully, 34-year-old Ruba Almaghtheh didn’t hurt anyone when she plowed her vehicle into the Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge in Indianapolis last Friday - though it wasn’t for lack of trying. Several kids and adults were inside the building, which the New York Post describes as being associated with the Black Hebrew Israelites. After being arrested for the attempted vehicular assault, Almaghtheh admitted to driving her car into the building on purpose, saying she thought it was a Jewish school thanks to the symbols on the front of the building.

Police said the woman kept describing the “Israel school” and made a reference to “her people back in Palestine,” telling police, ““Yes. I did it on purpose.” Authorities reportedly described her as a "terrorist" in their report, according to the Post.

Thankfully, Almaghtheh is as stupid as she is hateful. Despite their name, the Black Hebrew Israelites aren’t actually Jewish, but rather are a cult that claims African Americans are descendants of the ancient Israelites.

“Although a Jewish facility was not targeted, solely due to ironic misidentification, this is yet another reminder to maintain security protocols, remain vigilant of suspicious activity and to (report promptly) to the appropriate authorities,” the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis said Safe Indiana said in a statement following the incident.

Almaghtheh was arrested on an initial charge of criminal recklessness and is due to appear in court on Wednesday.
