After weeks of watching petulant brats on college campuses across America praise Hamas terrorists, call for the death of the Jews, and squat on campus lawns in $500 tents demanding their university deliver them food and water, it's nice to see at least some students still have some common sense and basic decency - albeit, not nearly enough of them.
Video from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill on Tuesday shows a group of students on the campus quad boldly holding an American flag up off the ground after it was reportedly pulled down by pro-Palestine protesters who were attempting to replace it with a Palestinian one. The students, who all appeared to be young men, stood their ground in a circle and held the flag in place despite being pelted with liquid, water bottles, and other projectiles from the angry, screaming students (many of them masked young women) surrounding them.

If you needed even the tiniest shred of hope for our country, it's this.
Pro-Palestinian protesters did ultimately succeed in removing the American flag and replacing it with the Palestinian one, but not for long. Interim Chancellor Lee Roberts personally arrived to help put the U.S. flag back up as pro-America students chanted, "U.S.A.!" The flag was then once again taken down, respectfully folded according to the U.S. Flag Code, and taken away to keep it safe from future vandalism.
Perhaps schools should taken these brats' tuition money and use them to buy one-way tickets to Gaza, if they're so keen on living in Palestine.
