As entire communities in North Carolina float off into the still-clouded sunset and countless bodies continue to be found in the debris of annihilated towns, Vice President Kamala Harris is on the job.
Because, well, Joe Biden’s nowhere to be found.
But if you think Harris is busy sending reinforcements to decimated Carolina neighborhoods or helping rescue stranded Americans from homes that are half-underwater and without power or food thanks to Hurricane Helene, you might want to take a closer look at the photo her office posted showing her "hard at work" responding to the disaster.
I was just briefed by @FEMA_Deanne Criswell on the latest developments about the ongoing impacts of Hurricane Helene. We also discussed our Administration's continued actions to support emergency response and recovery.

Users on X were quick to point out that Harris is surrounded by blank paper - including the piece she’s supposedly writing on. And, just as noticeably, her headphones don’t appear to be connected to the phone she’s allegedly talking on.
The papers in front of her are blank and her headphones are unplugged. Zero effort photo op, much like her administration. pic.twitter.com/0zQv4yGEYf

You could’ve at least pretended to write something on that blank paper before you tweeted about pretending to care

Maybe if North Carolina identified as Ukraine, they'd get a little more attention than a staged photo-op by an administration more concerned with fundraising than helping dying Americans.
