Ever wonder why you never hear stories about women who believe they’re men stealing actual men’s sports trophies and championships? That’s because it doesn’t happen.

Take, for example, Patricia Manuel, a professional boxer and biological woman who decided she wants to be a man. She proceeded to have a non-medically necessary mastectomy to remove both breasts, along with other elective surgeries to try and turn her biologically female body into a male one - or, at least, as close as she can get.

At first, Manuel boxed against women. But after loading on a bunch of weight, taking hormones, and undergoing Lord-only-knows-how-many body modification procedures, and thanks to idiotic rules by a science-denying culture, Manuel  - who now goes by "Patricio," or "Pat" - now boxes in the men’s category, the first "transgender" boxer to fight professionally in the U.S.

There’s just one little problem: hormone-induced biceps notwithstanding, Patrici"o" Manuel isn’t a man, as evidenced by her recent boxing match against Joshua Brian Reyes, a biologically male boxer who managed to lay Manuel flat on her back in just 21 seconds during an April 4 fight.

Manuel wrote on Instagram following the fight, "I'm not one to hide my face no matter the outcome…I lost last night. I trained my ass off, had great sparring, cut no corners. But sometimes sh*t doesn't go your way.”

Yes. That must be it.

To be fair, before getting her bell rung in the ring against Reyes, Manuel did clock three wins in the men’s category. We won't mention how one was on a technicality (her opponent head butted her, causing a gash) and another was a unanimous decision by a panel of judges.

You go gir- uh....never mind.
