The body of a three-year-old child was pulled from the Rio Grande this week amid another massive wave of illegal immigration, marking just the latest in an endless series of tragedies seemingly going unnoticed - or just plain uncared about - by the Biden Administration.

According to local reports, the little boy’s body was recovered on Wednesday just north of the floating barriers near Eagle Pass, which saw a stunning 10,000 estimated migrants cross from Mexico between Wednesday and Thursday alone.

The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed that the Tactical Marine Unit received a call just after 3:30 p.m. that a child had been swept away from his family by the strong current. The unit was able to locate the boy’s body and transport him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A day after the child’s body was recovered, the corpse of a middle-aged man was pulled from the river in the same area. Fox News’ Bill Melugin reports that the body of a 10-year-old child who’d drowned in the river was recovered in the same place just last week.

In response to the tragedies and the overwhelming number of migrants flooding into his town, Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas, who is a Democrat, declared a state of emergency this week in response to the overwhelming surge.

"Please just enforce the laws that are on the books. We're a nation of laws. That's all I ask for is that it shouldn't be like this. We should be able to enforce laws if you want to come here, good, come legally," Salinas said.

President Joe Biden has reportedly sent another 800 National Guardsmen to the border - not to turn back migrants, but to help process them so border agents can go back to directing traffic and fishing bodies out of the river.
