Elections have consequences - and while the price of eggs might come down more slowly, other effects of President Donald Trump’s second term in office have kicked off with a much louder bang.
And if you listen really carefully, you might say it sounds like a door slamming shut.
Illegal alien border crossings have plummeted 90 percent - read it, 90 percent - in the three weeks since Trump took office, according to border patrol agents on the ground.
Border agent Michael Banks told Fox News that at the same time, criminal alien prosecutions have jumped by 52% - meaning fewer people are shoving their way into the country unlawfully, and more dangerous people are getting booted back to whatever hellhole they crawled out of.

“US Border Patrol knows how to get the job done, we know how to secure the border. All we needed was a president that was going to empower us — a strong leader like President Trump — and a secretary like Secretary Noem that knows exactly what we need to do to secure the border,” Banks said.
While it’ll be a few weeks before February’s border apprehension stats come out, giving us a clear snapshot of Trump’s first full month in office, the daily totals don’t lie. Only 396 illegal migrants were encountered across the El Paso, Rio Grande Valley, Laredo, Del Rio and Big Bend sections of the southwest border on February 5, areas that under former President Joe Biden had seen thousands of illegal alien crossings per day at the height of the border crisis, and before Biden began funneling illegals through ports of entry via his CBPOne app.
Which has since been dismantled, by the way.
