Biden's Health and Human Services has laid down a new rule for its employees: use a coworker's "preferred pronouns," or risk being fired.

Announced via an internal staff email for "National Coming Out Day" on October 11, HHS informed the federal agency's more than 80,000 workers that all employees will now be required to refer to their coworkers by the pronouns that correspond with the person's gender "identity," regardless of the person's actual biology or whether their coworkers agree with the left's gender-bending ideology.

The HHS email stated that “All employees should be addressed [by] the names and pronouns they use to describe themselves" as part of the department’s new Gender Identity and Non-Discrimination Guidance, which dictates “employee rights and protections related to gender identity" to "ensure that HHS continues [to be a] welcoming, supportive environment where all employees feel safe and seen, including transgender and non-binary employees." In addition, the policy states that "employees can wear clothing and [use] restrooms in accordance with their gender identity.”

The department linked to an unlisted YouTube video in the email featuring HHS Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine (still a dude, by the way) and HHS Deputy Secretary Andrea Palm, who declared the new rules will ensure that "our colleagues are able to show up every day as their whole selves.”

“I want to say clearly to every one of you: Who you are and who you know yourself to be is valid,” Palm added. “We want you to be your authentic self every day, regardless of your gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, or disability status.”

Just not, of course, if your religion recognizes that God created men and women as two distinctly separate, and not voluntarily interchangeable, genders.

On top of that , Levine iterated that anyone in an authority role will not only be responsible for following the free-speech-violating mandates themselves, but also for forcing those who work under them to do the same.

“The Gender Identity Non-Discrimination and Inclusion Guidance is very important, and all supervisors and managers are responsible for helping to ensure it is fully implemented across all opdivs and staffdivs," Levine explained.

Nothing like forced compliance at the point of a taxpayer-funded government gun. I wonder how much the lawsuits will cost us?
