Disturbing video taken at the Southwest U.S. border in Texas and posted to X shows a little girl, presumably only two years old, who reportedly made it to the border without her family and is now trying to find her parents, who she says are already in the United States.

“Are you by yourself?” the Spanish-speaking man behind the camera asks the little girl, who can be seen holding a note with a name and a phone number written on it. She nods.

“How old are you?” he asks, to white she holds up just two little fingers.

“Two years old? Did you come with your mom and dad?” he asks. She shakes her head.

“No? And you’re alone? Where are you going?” he then asks her.

“To my mom and dad,” she replies. When the man asks her where her parents are, she replies, “In the United States.”

The scene mirrors countless similar cases of toddlers and young children being trafficked into the United States every day across the open Southwest U.S. border, a scene I personally witnessed while covering the ongoing crisis in 2014 under the Obama administration. While some young children are ferried across the border by extended relatives - or adults claiming to be extended relatives - others are carted across by human smugglers who've been paid to bring them into the United States. Some are left on the banks of the Rio Grande alongside other migrants who then make their way to border agents. Others are unceremoniously dumped in the desert to make their way alone - if they make it at all. Some are crammed into unventilated trucks and trailers, while surveillance video has caught others being tossed over 30-foot border walls by traffickers.

This is Biden's America. Thankfully, we only have another two months of it left.
