It should be illegal to be this stupid. And yet Bette Midler continues to walk free, foisting her idiocy on the rest of society, completely at liberty to spew insanity and foolishness wherever she pleases.
Midler, the septuagenarian actress appropriately known for playing a witch in the “Hocus Pocus” franchise, took to X over the weekend to suggest there would have been outrage had Hillary Clinton ever suggested the 2016 election was “stolen.”
“Can you imagine what would have happened if Hillary Clinton had claimed the election was stolen?” Midler wrote.

I’m not sure if Midler’s been living in a hole for the past eight years, which wouldn't surprise me in the least, but that’s pretty much all Hillary Clinton’s been saying ever since she was handily trounced by President Donald Trump in 2016.

Like, oh I don’t know, this:
Yesterday Hillary Clinton said the 2016 election was stolen from her. I’m old enough to remember when Democrats said these kind of comments were unacceptable and a direct attack on our democracy: pic.twitter.com/5ZkgdzZKN4

Or perhaps like when she called Trump an “illegitimate president.” When she said the 2016 election was “not on the level,” and that “We still don’t know what really happened.” When she suggested she lost the election by nefarious means in her own memoir.
In fact, Clinton has since accused Republicans of planning to “steal” the 2024 election, as well:
Can someone please explain this to me:

Why is it okay for Hillary Clinton to accuse Republicans of planning to steal an election, while the Democrats' main critique of Republicans these days is their "stolen election" rhetoric? pic.twitter.com/mkipGAfxfO
