However much you hate the leftist media, it’s not nearly enough. Not by a long shot.
According to the Associated Press - the same Associated Press, you may recall, that got lit up on social media in recent weeks for blatantly lying about a statement JD Vance made regarding school shootings - towns that have been overrun by droves of illegal aliens and Biden-decreed refugees have merely been “reshaped by migrants” and are experiencing “growing pains.”
“An Ohio city reshaped by Haitian immigrants lands in an unwelcome spotlight,” the AP published as a headline posted to X on Thursday.
And the article itself wasn’t any better.
“Many cities have been reshaped by immigrants in the last few years without attracting much notice. Not Springfield, Ohio,” the AP blathered.
“Its story of economic renewal and related growing pains has been thrust into the national conversation in a presidential election year — and maliciously distorted by false rumors that Haitian immigrants are eating their neighbors’ pets,” the outlet went on, referring to residents’ claims that the 20,000 or so Haitians who’ve been dumped into their backyards in the past two years are killing people’s cats and eating geese poached from local ponds (the latter of which is supported by confirmed police reports, by the way).
But despite multiple residents taking to city council meetings to complain about being harassed and even groped by illegal aliens camped out on local sidewalks, the AP chalked it all up to “residents increasingly bristl[ing] at newcomers taking jobs at factories, driving up housing costs, worsening traffic and straining city services,” as well the story of a Haitian migrant and recent “newcomer” who killed an 11-year-old boy last year after slamming his car into a school bus while driving without a valid license.
You know, little things that might cause locals to raise an eyebrow.

Even still, the AP insists residents should look past all the groping and homelessness and goose corpses at the “economic growth” that comes with a sudden influx of foreigners who don’t even speak English.
“So far this decade, immigration has accounted for almost three-quarters of U.S. population growth, with 2.5 million immigrants arriving in the United States between 2020 and 2023, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Population growth is an important driver of economic growth,” the outlet claims, lamenting that Haitians in Springfield, “out of fear, are considering leaving the city.”
I’m sure the locals are planning to have a good cry over that one.
