The problem with electing morons to Congress is that they don't stop being morons just because they're getting a cushy tax-funded salary and an office along marble halls.
Case in point: Democrat Reps. Ilhan Omar and Cori Bush, who are so anti-America that they don't even know what Memorial Day commemorates. In two now-deleted tweets, the congresswomen appeared to confuse Memorial Day with Veterans Day, using the annual holiday in remembrance of fallen service members to shout out living veterans and push their own agenda.
"On #MemorialDay, we honor the heroic men and woman who served our country. We owe them more than our gratitude - they have more than earned access to quality mental health services, job opportunities, housing assistance, and the benefits they were promised," Omar tweeted.

Bush echoed, "This #MemorialDay & every day, we honor our veterans in St. Louis. We must invest in universal health care, affordable housing, comprehensive mental health services, and educational & economic opportunities for our veterans as we work to build a world free of war and violence."
While it's all well and good to tout better support and health care services for veterans, Memorial Day is meant to honor those who didn't make it home to get such care, not current or former service members. And it's awfully rich coming from two women who're much more interested in shucking out billions of U.S. taxpayer cash on illegal aliens and their own climate agenda than they are about caring for the defenders of the nation they take every opportunity to insult.
As a Navy wife myself, I don't much appreciate our military being used as political props for anti-American politicians.
