You know all those bomb threats the city of Springfield, Ohio is supposedly getting because of Donald Trump and JD Vance’s “rhetoric” on migrants?
Yeah, turns out they were all a big hoax.
According to Republican Ohio Governor Mike DeWine said the city has received “at least 33 separate bomb threats, each one of which has been responded to, and each one of whom has been found as a hoax.”
The governor added that these fake threats appear to have originated overseas.
Gov. DeWine: “I’ll say to the parents in Springfield— these hoaxes, these threats have all been hoaxes. None of them have panned out. We have people unfortunately overseas who are taking these actions. Some of them are coming from one particular country…”pic.twitter.com/36awtT5cGM

“None of these had any validity at all…we have people, unfortunately, overseas who are taking these actions, some of them are coming from one particular country,” DeWine continued, adding, “We think this is one more opportunity to mess with the United States.”

The hoaxes caused schools to temporarily shut down and immediately outraged leftists - and members of the leftwing media - who blamed the Trump/Vance campaign for inciting “hatred” against migrants after the former president and his running mate echoed legitimate concerns from residents who’ve recently taken to public city meetings to complain about the problems caused by 20,000 Haitians who’ve been dumped into their small community over the past two years.
It looks like the media can't be bothered to get to the bottom of alleged bomb threats, any more than they're willing to look into claims by American citizens that migrants are overrunning their neighborhoods. Because after all, the narrative is what's important.
