In an interview with Variety, “Agatha All Along” actress Sasheer Zamata confirmed that the “Wandavision” sequel series will be the “gayest project Marvel has ever done.”

“Agatha is the gayest project Marvel has ever done, agreed?” a Variety reporter asked Zamata at the series premiere.

“I would agree with that, yeah…you’ll see when you watch it. But I think Witches are queer inherently, just because we are outcast, and like, set aside for many reasons,” Zamata went on, offering a bizarrely expanded definition of the term “queer” to include anyone who is a social oddball.

(By the by, Zamata recently came out as a lesbian, saying she realized she was gay after being cast as a lesbian in so many projects that she began to see it in herself. So make of that what you will.)

Starring Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, the nine-episode "Agatha All Along" series is a follow-up to Marvel’s “Wandavision” from 2020, which focused on Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch coming to terms with the death of Vision, her lover and fellow Avenger, at the end of Avengers:Infinity War.

All of which would be perfectly interesting to superhero fans in and of itself, without making everything as “gay” as possible.

And yet, Disney.
