British Parliament Release Report Calling on 'Islamophobia' to be Officially Deemed as 'Racist'

Is it just me or is the entire world becoming dumber, which also means the entire world is becoming more radical? Some of the government bodies around the world have suggested legislative measures that are tantamount to a level of stupidity I simply can’t understand and most likely never will.

The brainiacs in British Parliament recently released a report stating that “Islamophobia” should officially be officially deemed as “racism.”

Except Islam is not a race, it’s a religion. If Cat Stevens, Sinead O’Connor and Lindsay Lohan can be Muslims, then I don’t understand where the racism part comes in.

The report, written by the All Party Parliamentary Group on British Muslims (APPG), puts forth the opinion — not fact — that “Islamophobia is rooted in racism.”

“Islamophobia is rooted in racism and is a type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness,” the report stated.

I’m sorry, but what in the blue hell is “Muslimness?” How do you “perceive” someone's level of "Muslimness?" Isn't that subjective? I understand that some people can be more ardent followers of the Islamic faith than others, but why are we creating words that don’t exist and putting them in official government documents?

The report also states the perceived need for a “working definition” of Islamophobia in British law.

“A more immediate task, which complements this wider strategy, is the adoption of a working definition of Islamophobia that is firmly embedded in the body of literature on racism and anti-racism such that structural inequalities can be systematically lifted,” the report word vomited.

Okay, I need to breathe for a minute…

If the morons in British Parliament don’t already have a definition of “Islamophobia,” then how can they classify it as racist if they don’t know exactly what it is?

As if that weren’t enough to make you want to puke in your soup, the report included a statement that completely debunks their want to classify Islamophobia as “racism.”

“Three in five British Muslims think there is more prejudice against against Muslims than against other religious groups in Britain,” the report read.

First of all, if the report had been on there being “prejudice” against Muslims, then I probably would’ve let this whole thing go. But, you can be prejudiced against someone or a group without being racist. The report is confusing its own language.

Second, of course Muslims are going to think that their religious group is more persecuted than others. That’s human nature in today’s victim-mentality dominated society. You could ask any group of people whether they think their group is the most persecuted, and at least three out of five of any group will agree that they are the most persecuted.

Plus, isn’t three out of five kind of a week number? Heck, I’ve never see a commercial where three out of five dentists recommend a toothpaste. If the number had been two out of five, would this report even exist?

There’s so much more stupidity in this report, so if you want to be as utterly frustrated as I was reading this thing, go ahead and take a gander while adding a shot of Bailey’s to your coffee. It’ll help take the edge off of the pain you’re going to endure while sifting through this garbage that took a team of people to write.
