British political figure Nigel Farage became well-known for his support of the Brexit movement in Europe and he continues to discuss international political issues here in the U.S.
“I put it to you, that 2016 is a year that will stand out in a hundred, or 200 years’ time. It was a year of political revolution, ” Farage said at a recent event in Washington state.
Farage has been outspoken that the success of President Donald Trump and the UK's move to get out of the European Union demonstrates a political shift to national independence.
The former leader of the UK Independence Party will be in D.C. speaking about the “revolution” and it’s impact on both U.S. and international politics at a Liberty Nation event on Oct. 12.
Among the topics likely to come up, is Farage’s work to keep his revolution going. Farage recently made headlines with his endorsement of Roy Moore, a former State Supreme Court justice, who won the Alabama GOP primary Senate race.
