Joe Biden was speaking in Virginia Tuesday, when once again, one of his stories took a journey into the bizarre.

This one was about a nurse he claims was named Pearl Nelson.

"She'd come in and do things I don't think you learn in nursing school," he said.

"She'd whisper in my ear, I couldn't understand, but she'd whisper, and she'd lean down and actually breathe on me to make sure there was a human connection," Biden continued.

This story caused many on Twitter to question Biden’s mental state.

The story seems to be a favorite of Biden’s since he’s discussed it before, claiming the nurses at Walter Reed "would actually breathe in my nostrils to make me move, to get me moving."

Is Biden’s story true, or is it like his false Amtrak “Joey, baby” story that he constantly retells? Is it false like his claims of being a tractor trailer driver? Is it false like his claims he was arrested for protesting for civil rights? Is it false like his claims that he never discussed his son Hunter’s overseas business dealings with him?

Biden's list of false claims goes on and on. It may be easier to make a short list of the things that he has said that are true.

Which column will his story about nurses breathing into his nostrils fall? Time will tell, but given Biden’s track record, I think we know what the safe money bet is.
