An active shooter situation has been reported out of a San Berdardino, California elementary school, where at least four victims were shot, including two children, in what police have called a murder-suicide.

KTLA reported live that police have confirmed two adults were found dead in a classroom at North Park Elementary School following the incident.

Police say two children have been taken to the hospital. The other students were reportedly taken to a nearby high school for safety. KTLA reports:

At least four victims have been located after a shooter walked on to the North Park Elementary School campus in San Bernardino and opened fire in a possible murder-suicide, officials said.

The shooter was also possibly down, according to a tweet from San Bernardino Police Department Chief Jarrod Burguan, who said the information was preliminary.

Burguan later tweeted that the shooting was a suspected murder-suicide. Two students were transported to a local hospital after the incident, which took place in a classroom, he said.

No information has been released about the suspect, or whether the four victims identified by police include the shooter.
