You’ve heard of Mother’s Day. And, though perhaps less appreciated, Father’s Day. But have you ever heard of…Sugar Daddy Appreciation Day?
No? That’s because it’s not a thing…yet. But if one woman from Boca Raton gets her way, it could be.
A woman who identified herself as Ashley Cream took the floor at a Boca Raton Planning and Zoning board meeting last Thursday to call for an official “Sugar Daddy Appreciation Day” to honor rich men - and the occasional woman - who happily fork over their cash for their lovers to buy swanky stuff like designer clothes, purses, and even plastic surgery.
“Sugar daddies, both gay and straight, and yes, even sugar mommies, are responsible for college educations, cars, homes, rents, jets … and the occasional body enhancement,” she told the committee, claiming that the local area is home to “the most concentrated populace of these aged benefactors” in the U.S.

Standing alongside…er…Cream?…was an elderly man she was later seen pushing in a wheelchair, raising the question of whether he was one of the aforementioned “aged benefactors.”
Thankfully, it's unlikely that city planners will take Cream's suggestion seriously.
