Another harrowing video from the Southwest U.S. border shows yet another child being dropped over a border fence and abandoned by human smugglers in California.
Customs and Border Patrol said the 7-year-old girl was dropped over the border wall on a rope ladder and left alone by smugglers before being rescued by CBP agents, who watched the incident but did not intervene for fear that the smugglers would drop the child in an attempt to make a hasty getaway.

Earlier this year, CBP surveillance video caught human smugglers literally dropping toddlers from a 14-foot border fence onto the ground below and leaving them there alone. In another disturbing clip, border agents encountered a little boy wandering around the desert alone, who began sobbing as he told his rescuers that he’d been left behind by the smugglers who’d brought him into the country with a group of illegal aliens.
A five-year-old girl was found alone in the wilderness in June, while two siblings - a two-year-old and a three-month-old in a baby carrier - were rescued in September after having been abandoned in the long grass along the Rio Grande.
