On top of a historic surge of illegal immigration at the Southwest U.S. border and skyrocketing inflation numbers, President Joe Biden has also set another record – for his plummeting approval rating.

It turns out the 78-year-old president has, in just 11 months into his first term, managed to tank his public approval faster than any other president since World War II. According to a Gallup poll, Biden’s approval dropped from 56 percent at the start of his presidency to just under 45 percent in the third quarter of this year, the fastest decline since any president in the past 8 decades.

"This 11-point decline is larger than any prior president registered between his first and third quarters, although it is similar to those for the last three Democratic presidents -- Barack Obama (10 points), Clinton (seven points) and Carter (nine points)," Gallup explained.

By comparison, former President Donald Trump’s approval rating saw only a 4.4 percent decline during the same time frame in his one and only term.

The most recent Gallup poll puts Biden at an even lower 42 percent, the lowest overall approval rating at this point in his term for any president except Trump, whose approval rate came in at 37 percent at nearly 300 days into his presidency.
