“The best of my knowledge, the kind of things they [investigators] picked up are things that — from 1974, stray papers. There may be something else, I don’t know,” Joe Biden told PBS in a recent interview about the many classified documents found in his office and home.

This statement comes from the man who claimed that it was “irresponsible” for Donald Trump to have had classified documents at his Mar-A Lago residence for several months after he left the White House.

"How that could possibly happen, how one anyone could be that irresponsible," Biden told 60 Minutes in September, before the mid-term elections. "Just totally irresponsible."

1974 was Biden’s second year in the U.S. Senate and he didn’t give any insight as to what information was in the classified documents he’s held onto all these decades.

However, Biden did make a distinction between his document possession and Trump’s.

“What I was talking about is what was laid out - all these documents were top secret, code word and all the rest,” Biden said.

Of course, the documents were "laid out" by Biden’s Department of Justice, which released the photo of classified documents found during a search of Trump's home.

Trump has long complained about the photo, claiming it was staged to make him look bad.

No photos of the classified documents taken from Biden’s home or office have been released to the press. Perhaps, much like some of Biden’s classified documents, the photos will be seen again in about 50 years.
