So this is apparently a thing. The man/woman who placed far-reaching mask mandates on the people of Pennsylvania is going to take a prominent role within the incoming Biden administration.
In a move that screams ‘we’re just trying to appease the Alphabet mafia,’ President-elect Joe Biden has chosen Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Rachel Levine as his new assistant secretary of health. Once confirmed, Levine would become the first transgender federal official in the U.S.
Biden said the following in a statement, according to the Associated Press (AP):
Dr. Rachel Levine will bring the steady leadership and essential expertise we need to get people through this pandemic — no matter their zip code, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability — and meet the public health needs of our country in this critical moment and beyond. She is a historic and deeply qualified choice to help lead our administration’s health efforts.
Basically, Levine will help institute any authoritarian health measures Biden and those his administration might dictate the people follow.
Ahead of the Thanksgiving 2020 holiday, Levine told the people of Pennsylvania to wear masks at all times, even when in their own homes should people from other households be in said homes.
