Biden 'Quietly' Added Facebook & Google Employees to 'Transition Team'

Why is it that politicians — especially career politicians — always do the majority of the questionable things they do when no ones looking? It’s like they have something to hide.

Politco’s Transition Playbook, which tracks any appointments to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s “transition team” and possible forthcoming administration, reported that Biden’s transition team “quietly” added four very notable new employees — and each of them works for either Facebook and Google.

Oh, and they’ll continue to work for those companies while working for Biden.

According to Politico, here are the names and positions within Facebook and Google that Biden’s team has brought on:

ZAID ZAID, a Facebook public policy official, joined the State Department and International Development teams.

CHRISTOPHER UPPERMAN, a Facebook manager, was added to the Small Business Administration team.

RACHEL LIEBER, a Facebook director and associate general counsel, now sits on the Intelligence Community team.

DEON SCOTT, a Google program manager and alum of Obama’s Homeland Security Department, will serve on the DHS team.

These appointments were done somewhere around the Thanksgiving holiday, just a couple of weeks after there were reportedly “zero current Facebook or Google employees” on Biden’s “team.”

With social media and Big Tech companies in general actively censoring anyone who disputes the 2020 election, it’s interesting to see new appointments to Biden’s team coming from social media and Big Tech companies.

Maybe it’s just a coincidence.
