In his short two-year tenure in office, President Joe Biden has knowingly released more than 1 million illegal aliens into the United States, according to a newly published report from the New York Times.

Per the report, the Biden administration has welcomed 1 million “migrants” into the U.S. to await immigration hearings – court dates that many of them won’t show up for.

The Center for Immigration Services estimates that count is actually far lower than the real number, because it doesn’t count the nearly 1 million estimated illegal aliens who’ve come into the U.S. without getting caught.

CIS reported back in June, two months ahead of the behind-the-Times:

The latest Biden administration disclosures in Biden v. Texas reveal that in May, DHS released 95,318 migrants CBP had encountered at the Southwest border into the United States, bringing the total of illegal migrant releases there under the Biden administration to 1,049,532 — a population larger than the number of residents in the president’s home state of Delaware, at a rate of 2,115 per day.

“And yet, it gets worse,” CIS adds:

That’s because these official figures exclude two other groups of migrants who proceeded from the Southwest border into the interior of the United States —“got-aways” and unaccompanied alien children (UACs).

Fox News reports that there have been 440,000 such got-aways — aliens who entered illegally and successfully evaded apprehension — thus far in FY 2022, on top of an additional 400,000 in FY 2021.

That would put the total number of migrants who’ve gotten into the U.S. unlawfully under the Biden administration at about 2 million - roughly the entire population of Nebraska.

With most migrants lacking education, jobs, financial security, or even basic proficiency in English, the influx has put a massive strain on small towns and big cities alike, straining government safety nets and charitable group resources while maxing out shelters and hotels as illegal aliens with few resources try to figure out where to go - and how to get there.

And while it appears the Biden administration is more than happy to hold open the border door for those able to walk through, when it comes to helping American locales deal with the massive burden of so many migrants, this White House - like the president who supposedly occupies it - is often nowhere to be found.
