They really, really care about their bogeyman, the Climate Change monster.

The Biden Administration “Do As I Say, Not As I Do” mentality, is similar to that which was exhibited by one of their ideological ancestors, Karl Marx – who didn’t want other people to give or get inheritances, but wanted the money from his own FATHER’S WILL and fought for it so much, he alienated other family members.
And the scandalous, predictable, breach of their own rhetoric at the G-20, where the climate careerists also pushed the idea of a global business tax, is giving the Bidenistas plenty of appropriate criticism from the web:

‘#Decarbonize this,’ one person captioned the video.
‘America’s Marie Antoinette class is Washington’s elites – and that shows it,’ another person responded.
And this is just a response to the current leftist hypocrisy, wider examples of which we’ve seen going back centuries (as noted with Marx), and even as recently as October 18, when MRCTV observed that Climate Cult attendees at the UN COP26 gathering in Glasgow from October 31 to November 12 would be using Diesel-burning generators to recharge their expensive “for show only” electric cars.
The larger fraud is the collectivist’s assumptive creation of what they call a “Climate Crisis” that they pretend to bolster with fraudulent data, secret emails about how to change datasets to promote the Climate Change agenda, and the politicization of climatology itself.
Whether it be the political need to avoid mentioning to people that when the Soviet Union shut down, many Siberian weather stations closed, so their cooler data was not included in “global temp” charts while, worldwide, the urban temp-readers remained, making the temp look warmer, or it be errant claims of “more terrible forest fires” over the past years, members of the Climate Cult repeatedly have been exposed for hiding information, changing information, promoting incomplete information, or pushing “Climate Change” fixes like global carbon taxes without considering how destructive such taxes are to the poor and productivity.
That would be productivity that helps more people live healthier lives, free from suffering.
One does a disservice to people worldwide, and to future generations, if one buys all the rhetoric of the hypocrites, be it about global temps, about the nobility of the politicians “fighting” for carbon taxes and more controls over free enterprise, or the pop media scare-mongering over things like fires.
As the Wall Street Journal recently observed, Danish climate reporter Bjorn Lomborg recently has increased his criticism of the Climate Cult, and, in particular, has skewered them for their reckless, doomsaying “wildfire” claims:
Even a report from the World Wildlife Fund—chillingly subtitled ‘a crisis raging out of control?’ —concedes midway through that ‘the area of land burned globally has actually been steadily declining since it started to be recorded in 1900.’
And Lomborg adds:
It is true that more people will probably be threatened by fires in the future, but this is because part of the world’s growing population will settle where wildfires are more common. The number of homes in high-fire-risk zones in the Western U.S. has increased 13-fold over the past 80 years and is set to increase further by 2050. A 2016 Nature study concludes this is true globally. “Contrary to common perception,” the researchers write, ‘human exposure to wildfires increases in the future mainly owing to projected population growth in areas with frequent wildfires, rather than by a general increase in burned area.’
As Nelson notes for the NY Daily Post:
Biden departed for the trip Thursday after unveiling a $1.75 trillion framework for social and environmental spending that includes $555 billion in green-energy and anti-pollution spending that he wants Democrats to pass.
Biden said the legislation would ‘turn the climate crisis into an opportunity.’
Perhaps the opportunity he means is the opportunity to be a driver for his enormous tax-funded motorcade.
Or… Perhaps it’s the opportunity to slew political dreck that hides Biden’s hypocrisy even as it pushes the absurd and unsupportable anthropogenic climate change agenda.
Because it sure seems as if Biden wants to expand those wonderful sectors of the economy – at our expense.
