Jamal Brown, National Press Secretary for Joe Biden for President, told Cheddar, Inc. the campaign is “glad to see” big tech censor the New York Post's article on Hunter Biden.
“I also want to ask you, Twitter has been under a little bit of fire for blocking tweets connected to this recent New York Post article about Hunter Biden's connections in Ukraine and Joe Biden's alleged involvement when he was vice president,” the host asked. “What is your campaign response to this article? And do you think that Twitter is doing the right thing here?”
“Well, look, I think Twitter’s response to the actual article itself, makes clear that these purported allegations are false and they're not true,” Brown said Thursday.
“And glad to see, you know, social media companies like Twitter taking responsibility to limit misinformation.”
Twitter has since changed their decision to block sharing of the article as of early Friday.
